Common questions
Where is my data stored?
On your phone. AlisLog has no accounts and no cloud database — nothing to log into, nothing to breach. Use Settings → Export to save a backup file, and keep one somewhere safe: a lost phone without a backup means lost history.
How do I move to a new phone?
Export a backup on the old phone (Settings → Export), send the file to the new phone via AirDrop, Files, or email, then open AlisLog on the new phone and Import it. Everything comes across — logs, recipes, streaks, settings.
A food's AI nutrition looks wrong
AI estimates can miss, especially for unusual portions. Tap the food to edit its numbers directly — AlisLog remembers your correction and uses it next time.
Household links open the browser instead of the app
Make sure AlisLog is installed and up to date. Then long-press the link and choose "Open in AlisLog" — iOS remembers your choice, and normal taps open the app from then on.
What does Premium include?
Everything you already use stays free — logging, recipes, meal prep, pantry, themes, trends, export. Premium unlocks unlimited AI lookups, adaptive goals with the metabolism graph, and household sync. One low price, mostly covering the AI bill.
How do I delete everything?
Since your data lives on-device, deleting the app deletes the data. You can also wipe from within Settings. There's no server copy to chase down — that's the point.
