The six that come up most. If yours isn't here, the address above still works.
01
Where is my data stored?
−
On your phone. AlisLog has no accounts and no cloud database, so there is nothing to log into and nothing to breach. Use Settings, Export to save a backup file, and keep one somewhere safe: a lost phone without a backup means lost history.
02
How do I move to a new phone?
+
Export a backup on the old phone (Settings, Export), send the file across by AirDrop, Files or email, then open AlisLog on the new phone and Import it. Everything comes with it: logs, recipes, streaks, settings.
03
A food's AI nutrition looks wrong
+
Estimates can miss, especially on unusual portions. Tap the food and edit its numbers directly. AlisLog remembers your correction and prefers it next time, so you only fix it once. If it's a packaged product, the label on the packet always wins — please read it yourself for anything allergy related.
04
Household links open the browser
+
Make sure AlisLog is installed and up to date, then long-press the link and choose Open in AlisLog. iOS remembers the choice, and ordinary taps open the app from then on.
05
What does Premium actually unlock?
+
Three things: unlimited AI lookups, adaptive goals that move your target as your data changes, and household sync. Everything else stays free, including the parts people assume are paid: logging, recipes, meal prep, pantry, themes, trends, export, and the metabolism graph that measures your real maintenance. Without Premium you get a daily allowance of AI lookups; when it runs out you can still log everything by hand, and it resets the next day.
06
How do I delete everything?
+
Because the data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes the data. You can also wipe it from within Settings. There is no server copy to chase down, which is the whole point. Share links are the one exception: they sit on our server for 180 days — mail us the link and we'll delete it sooner.
